MICHAEL, Architect
For twenty-five years Michael has designed homes that feature his custom furniture and fixtures. Demand for these pieces from their exposure in publications led him to Krystina to define the feasibility of mass-production. Krystina worked with Michael to locate investors and restructure his architectural firm with a product manufacturing division.
ANN, Illustrator
Ann, an award-winning illustrator developed an animated series. She also created products showcasing her characters including greeting cards, T-shirts and toys. Krystina developed a licensing strategy for her and outlined a production strategy to make her cartoon series a sought after property.
MARK, MBA Marketing / Musician
Mark developed a new musical instrument. While he was working on his business plan to produce his instrument he was stuck on production costs because he had not refined the design. Krystina advised him on materials and manufacturing processes, volumes and costs. Mark’s business plan was successful because he had realistic production strategy, sales projections, and solid manufacturing costs.
ELIZABETH and JOHN, Chefs and Restaurant Owners
Elizabeth’s and John’s restaurant was failing but their salad dressings were a hit. They were considering closing the restaurant and approached Krystina for options. Krystina helped them license their recipe to a large manufacturer and develop a cookbook to promote their restaurant. This built additional income and the brand profile turning the restaurant around to become profitable.
SAM and ALEX, Engineer and Attorney
Sam developed a technology for detecting toxins in food. Alex his patent attorney led him to Krystina to develop the business strategy for his patents. Together they designed several products for his technology enhancing the patent portfolio of the company. In addition Krystina created research criteria and outlined an implementation strategy with financial milestones that met the requirements of investors.
SCOTT, Physical Therapist
Scott, a physical therapist has been working with stroke victims for fifteen years. His dissatisfaction with the arm braces available led him to develop a brace that has proven to speed recovery when tested on his patients. Krystina helped him to start a company producing the brace through outsourcing manufacturing. Together they developed a unique marketing strategy to build distribution.
ALICE, Product Manufacturer
Alice created a patented candle line with sales of three million dollars a year through her own company. Alice also owns patents for several other products but has not produced them because they don't align with her company’s brand and distribution. Krystina worked with Alice on maximizing her intellectual property by licensing her brand, trade secrets and patents internationally.
Karen, Retail Professional
Karen, a manager of a chain home lifestyle store developed several ideas that she thought could be profitable for her company. Karen worked with Krystina on product design and financials to estimate the value of the products. Together they created a convincing presentation, Krystina negotiated the contract and Karen licensed her designs to the parent company. In addition she received a promotion to oversee new products in the product development division.
